Vegeterian Tips: Take a vitamin supplement that contains B12 or include nutritional yeast in your diet regularly, especially if you re vegan or mostly vegan.
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 5 plump red strawberries (frozen gives it an icy zest, can use fresh)
- 5 juicy peach slices (frozen or fresh)
- 1 cup or so of lovely apple juice or apple cider
- 1 big yellow yummy banana-peeling removed
- And a heeping handfull of grocery store bag ice
Directions:
Combine the lush ingredients into a blender. Mash down with
hands (that”s the super fun part). Be sure that you add a
liberal amount of apple liquid, but not too much! Put
blender on puree and higher if needed.
I drink this smoothie
after a rough day or as a summertime treat. It sounds too
simple to be so good, but believe me it will knock you off
your feet. You will be floating on a cloud after indulging
in this.
Nutrition- It is even more nutritious if you add a spoonfull
of wheatgerm.
