Vegeterian Tips: If you are going to a gathering with all your meat lover friends such as a barbeque or pig roast, bring your own veggie burger to place on the grill. You can also make your own veggie kabobs with fresh vegetables and tofu. Just make sure to bring enough, as most people will want to try and probably like what you are eating!
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 125ml rolled oats
- 10ml vinegar
- 3ml vegan sugar
- 10ml curry powder
- 500ml brown vegan bread crumbs
- 250ml left-over vegetables
- 5ml salt
- oil for frying
Directions:
1) Fry onion and curry powder in oil for a few minutes.
2) Add tomato and cook till done.
3) Mix in all the other ingredients.
4) Add a little water if mixture is too dry.
5) Shape into patties and brown quickly on both sides.
