Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 1 cup chopped onio
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoon nutritional yeast (food yeast flakes)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 6 tablespoon low-fat soy flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoon Bragg”s Liquid Aminos
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 3/4 cup wheat germ
- 2 cups water
Directions:
Steam onions and garlic until soft. Combine all
ingredients. Mixture thickens on standing for 10 or 15
minutes and is easier to handle. Measure 1/4 cup amounts
and press into a standard size jar lid or use a scoop. Drop
onto a cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment
paper.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Turn and

hamburger bun. These patties may be frozen preferably
without the gravy.
