Vegeterian Tips: Eat a dark green vegetable broccoli, spinach, kale, collard greens at least three times a week. These nutritional powerhouses are packed full of vitamins such as calcium and iron. Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 1 med. sized bunch of broccoli
- 1/4 of a fresh lemo
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- tamari sauce to taste—approx. 1 1/2 to 2 tbs.
Directions:
Saute garlic in oil for a minute or two, then throw in
broccoli. Squeeze fresh lemon over broccoli. Add tamari
sauce. Be careful not to add too much tamari as it”s
incredibly salty. Let sizzle until broccoli heads are brown
and the ends are a little crispy. Eat with lots of brown
rice or quinoa! Yum!
