Vegeterian Tips: Water water water! It s been said over and over again for a reason because its true! Most people don t drink nearly enough. Bring a water bottle with you wherever you go and invest in a simple filter for your home. Water is especially important when adjusting to a new way of eating, as it will help curb any cravings you may experience.

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

  • 1 large cabbage, shredded
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoon dark sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoon rice vinega
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black peppe
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginge

Directions:

Combine all above ingredients in a
bowl and stir!

Feel free to switch up the kinds of
nuts- cashews or peanuts instead of
almonds. For a sweeter salad, add 1/8
cup of sugar. I always end up adding
garlic, too, because I have addiction
issues with garlic.

Feel free to add drained, firm tofu to
the mix, but I would drain it and pre-
marinade it in the dressing
