Vegeterian Tips: Make it a goal to eat at least one piece of raw fruit or a handful of raw vegetables every dayI try to eat an apple first thing in the morning to get it out of the way.
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- one 14oz can garbanzo beans
- bunch of parsley
- 2-3 green onions
- 3-4 cloves garlic
- two tbsps tahini (more if you like)
- juice of one lemon
- teaspoon salt
- dash of cayenne
Directions:
Place parsley, green onions, and garlic into food processo
and chop well. Put garbanzos into mixture, add the rest of
ingredients, and puree.
Taste to decide if spices need adjusting and mix
accordingly.
Serve on pitas (delicious w/falafel and tabouli) or w/fresh
veggies.
