Vegeterian Tips: If you know you are going to be eating at a certain restaurant on Saturday night, call ahead and ask if they offer any vegetarian entrees. If the answer is no, ask if something can be prepared for your dietary needs. Most likely, the answer will be yes.
Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- Swanson Vegetable broth
- Salt
- Pepper
- Savory
- Thyme
- Rosemary
- Garlic
- Parsley
- Cornstarch
- Onio
Directions:
Pour can of Vegetable broth into pan.
Add desired seasonings – put in different kinds, you can also add thinly sliced onions.
Let simmer. The longer you can let it simmer, the more flavorful it becomes.
In a bowl with 1/3 c water, add 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch and mix until smooth. Add to
vegetable broth.
Bring to boil while stirring often. Thicken to your liking by adding more cornstarch.
**I have always loved gravy and missed it when I became a veggie – I came across this on a
