Vegeterian Tips: Eat a dark green vegetable broccoli, spinach, kale, collard greens at least three times a week. These nutritional powerhouses are packed full of vitamins such as calcium and iron. Ingredients (use vegan versions):
- 1/2 ripe cantalope
- 2 ripe kiwis
- 20 freash strawberries
- 3 slices unsweeten pineapples
- 1/3 cup unsweeten pineapple juice
- 4 cubes ice
Directions:
Peel and cut all fruits into chunks and place into blender.
Add juice and blend until smooth. Add ice and blend again.
This is a great drink for a quick pick-me-up, or as a
breakfast drink. You could also freeze it to make an ice
treat for the children.
